1. Introduction

Welcome to Classroom Quick Tools. We build simple classroom utilities for teachers and design them to be easy to use without requiring accounts or unnecessary personal information.

2. Information entered into classroom tools

Some Classroom Quick Tools let you enter information such as student names, class lists, timer settings, or other tool preferences. Classroom-entered names and lists are processed in your browser and are not intentionally sent to Classroom Quick Tools servers.

No account required: You do not need to create an account to use the tools.
Local storage: Saved lists are stored in this browser's local storage. Some tools also save settings in local storage so they remain available in the same browser.
Microphone access: Tools like the Classroom Noise Meter may request microphone permission. Audio is not recorded, saved, or uploaded. The tool only estimates sound level locally in your browser.

Student names and class-list contents are not intentionally included in Google Analytics event parameters. Classroom-entered names and lists are masked from Microsoft Clarity session recordings. Microsoft Clarity may process other technical, usage, and rendered-page information. Please do not enter sensitive student information into the tools.

3. Analytics

Classroom Quick Tools uses Google Analytics to understand general website usage, such as page visits, traffic sources, device or browser information, and overall site activity. Google Analytics may collect technical and usage information when you visit the site.

We also use Microsoft Clarity to help understand how visitors interact with the site, such as navigation patterns, clicks, scrolling, and general usability behavior. Clarity may use behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to provide these insights.

4. Cookies and browser storage

The site and its analytics providers may use cookies, local storage, or similar browser technologies to operate features, remember settings, and measure website usage. Some classroom tools use local storage to save preferences or lists on your device.

5. Third-party analytics services

The site currently uses:

These providers may process technical and usage information under their own privacy policies.

6. Advertising

Classroom Quick Tools does not currently display third-party advertising. If advertising is added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect relevant data practices.

7. Children and students

The tools are designed for teacher-directed classroom use, but users should avoid entering sensitive personal information. Please do not enter sensitive student information into the tools.
